Nourish. Balance. Feel your best.

Rosemary House is a functional nutrition practice dedicated to supporting women’s health through personalized, root-cause care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Think of your body like a tree. The symptoms you feel—fatigue, pain, gut issues, hormone imbalance—are the branches. Conventional medicine often trims the branches. Functional medicine asks: what’s going on in the soil? When we improve the terrain the roots live in—food, nutrients, stress load, toxins, and lifestyle—the tree can heal itself. Functional medicine steps back and looks at the whole body and how it functions. Symptoms are the body communicating -not the true problem.

  • I don’t replace your doctors— I work alongside them, helping to fill the gaps they don’t have time to address in a standard visit. Your physician is the one who diagnoses, prescribes, and manages medications. My role is to support your health between visits by addressing nutrition, lifestyle, stress, labs, and patterns that influence how your body functions day to day.

If improvements in your health ever suggest that medications might be adjusted, that conversation always happens with your prescribing doctor. Any changes to medications are made by them — never by me. I help create the conditions that support your body, and your doctor guides medical decisions.

The current medical model struggles to treat chronic conditions-as this model, designed to effectively “fix” the problem-treating things like infection or a broken arm, doesn’t work with chronic conditions like autoimmunity. Autoimmune diseases make up the largest category of chronic illness; there are over 100 diseases considered to be autoimmune, and 75-80% of those diagnosed are women. Functional nutrition fills the GAP -coming alongside your health care team to help you feel your best.

  • Functional medicine focuses on how your body is functioning. Many people feel unwell long before something earns a diagnosis. By supporting the root areas of dysfunction — digestion, blood sugar, hormones, nutrient status, stress, sleep, and detox pathways — we often improve symptoms even without a specific label, as we look at inputs and outputs: what your body is getting, how its responding, and where things may be under supported. If your body is giving you signals, that’s enough information to begin supporting it.

  • Functional Medicine is known for extensive-and expensive-testing, but at Rosemary House, labs are optional, not automatic.

Labs can be helpful because they give us clues and help point us in the right direction, but they’re only one snapshot in time — not the whole story. I always start by reviewing any lab work you already have, and many times that’s enough to begin making meaningful changes. If there are a few missing pieces, we can often request them at your next doctor appointment. Sometimes we may decide together that additional labs could be useful, and if so, we’ll talk through options like Quest or LabCorp. But labs are never required -they are just a tool. The decision is always in your hands, and we prioritize the most practical, accessible options.

  • Rosemary House does not sell or represent any supplement brand. Although supplements are often appropriate, I take a food-first approach, building nourishment into your lifestyle. When supplements are needed, I help guide you toward effective, well-sourced options and safe places to buy them. I’m not tied to one brand, and you’re never required to purchase anything through me.

As a holistic practitioner, I offer access to Fullscript, a professional supplement online dispensary, to ensure quality and safety. I pass on most of the practitioner discount to benefit my clients and retain a small percentage to support my practice. As my client, you have the option to use Fullscript if it’s convenient — but again, the choice is always yours.

If multiple imbalances are present, together we will take a slow, tiered approach. We will introduce changes gradually so we can clearly see how your body responds, rather than overwhelming your system or your budget.

  • Yes, I absolutely can support weight loss — but my focus is health first.

For many years of my life, I thought that if I could get to my ideal number on the scale- everything else would fall in place, but I had it backward. I struggled with eating disorders and low self-esteem, and even though I ate more nutrient dense food than anyone else I knew- I had a hard time keeping weight off permanently. It changed when I shifted my focus. Rather than my goal being skinny- I now focused on health (mental, spiritual and physical) and vitality- and that changed my relationship with food. When together you and I support your metabolism, hormones, digestion, blood sugar, stress, and nourishment, the body often moves toward a healthier weight naturally. I love food, but as I have learned to love my body -I desire to give it what it needs for vital health-and try to avoid the things that throw it off balance. Once we have the basic healthy lifestyle and nutrition pieces in place, we can even use more targeted approaches to achieve your healthy weight.

If someone is only looking for quick weight loss, this probably isn’t the right fit. There are a lot of ways to do that- all of them not health focused. But if you’re seeking true, sustainable long-term health — and weight change is part of that — then we’re very aligned. Your body balancing to a healthy weight is often the happy side effect of this work- not the primary goal.

  • Yes, I keep regular office hours with both morning and afternoon/early evening appointments to accommodate busy schedules. I also offer limited Saturday appointments.

If my regular hours don’t work for your schedule, you’re welcome to reach out. We can discuss options, and if appropriate, I’ll send a private booking link to schedule your appointment.

  • I believe meaningful health work happens best when there’s trust, clarity, and mutual commitment.

My services are designed to offer thoughtful, individualized support — not quick fixes or one-size-fits-all protocols. Each session builds on the last, allowing us to gently uncover root causes and create sustainable change over time.

    Initial Intake & First Session-$200

Includes a comprehensive intake, health history review, current lab interpretation, and your first 2 sessions- both the 2 hour health history session and your 1 hour follow-up session.

Subsequent Packages start at $425 for a 5 session package, and offerings include up to a 12 session package (best value).

Most clients choose a package of sessions to allow for steady progress, integration, and support as the body responds and adjusts. After your initial session, we will decide together what level of support feels most aligned with your needs, goals, and pace. There is never pressure to commit beyond what feels right for you.

Credit cards are accepted, and payments are processed as healthcare services. Many clients are able to use HSA or FSA cards; however, eligibility is determined by your individual plan. Please check with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm coverage. payments are handled securely through Stripe within the private client portal to protect your information. If you have questions, about payment plans or pricing, please feel free to reach out.

  • No, although best results are obtained over time. Once your full intake form is complete, you will start with a STARTER package, and we will complete our first meeting before you receive your invoice. While many women who seek support are looking for someone to work with for several months—allowing for slow, gentle, and sustainable progress—further package commitments are not required.

There’s no single herb or quick fix that resolves complex health concerns. True healing is built through habits, consistency, and effort, and meaningful shifts toward balance in the body take time.

That said, if you’re primarily looking for clarity and direction without an ongoing commitment, I’m happy to do that. I can lay out what I see, explain the “why,” and provide a clear plan you can implement on your own. No gatekeeping—just support, however it best serves you.

  • Although most holistic practitioners use muscle testing in their practice to determine your deficientcies and needs, I don’t use muscle testing — I prefer to look at symptoms, patterns, labs, and history to understand what the body needs. I have more of an evidence based approach- yet also understand you are not a statistic. What works for one client or what a study concludes works for many-may NOT work for you because you are an individual, all things matter and everything is connected.

  • There is no payment required before our first meeting. Your initial session is focused on listening, assessment, and understanding your health goals. After this visit, an invoice will be sent prior to your follow-up appointment, where your personalized recommendations are presented. This approach allows you to decide to move forward after we’ve had time to connect, review your health history, and ensure we’re a good fit. Going forward, package sessions can be purchased and scheduled on the private portal, where major credit cards are accepted through Stripe, and processed as healthcare services. Many clients are able to use HSA or FSA cards; however, eligibility is determined by your individual plan. Please check with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm coverage.
